The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital has been at the forefront of providing outstanding healthcare for women since its establishment in 1962. With a strong history and a commitment to excellence, we are dedicated to offering comprehensive care across all stages of a woman’s life—from pregnancy and childbirth to addressing complex reproductive health issues. Our 371-bed facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources to provide high-quality services to meet the needs of women at all ages and stages of life.
Our Leadership and Staff

Under the leadership of Senior Consultant Dr. Isaac Osei Koranteng, our department thrives on collaborative teamwork.
