Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Hospital will from April, this year begin postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine.
The Head of the Accident & Emergency Department, Dr. Frederick Kwarteng has disclosed that “on Monday, April 4, 2022, doctors who have enrolled into the Emergency Medicine Residency will report at the Department to begin the program.
Dr. Kwarteng said seasoned Emergency Medicine consultants from Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK), National Ambulance Service and the University of Ghana Medical School (UGMS) would offer teaching session to the Medical Residents and also provide consultant services.
