Mr. Munir Alhassan is the new Director of Administration. He replaces Mr. Nurudeen Mohammed, the former Director of Administration of the hospital. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Alhassan acted as the Executive Assistant of the Hospital.
Mr. Alhassan obtained his Masters in Health Management Policy Planning from Leeds University in the United Kingdom and a post graduate diploma in Executive Management in Public Private Partnership from the Commonwealth University.
From a humble beginning, he started as an intern in the Hospital, later progress to become a health Service administrator. He was later appointed as the Head of Policy and Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PPME).
As a leader, he foresees that the administration of health would be understood and coordinated properly by all support services. This will help transform the outcome of health services (health delivery).
All work and no play, they say, makes Jack a dull man, therefore Mr. Alhassan enjoys gardening, reading and playing football to relax.
