Call for Abstracts
The Research Unit, under the auspices of the Chief Executive Officer’s office, invite staff to submit abstracts for oral presentations for the upcoming KBTH Research Day under the theme “Generating research evidence in a digitalised healthcare delivery system”
which comes off as follows:
Date: 4th December, 2019 I
Time: 9am-1pm
Venue: Obs & Gynae Conference Room
We welcome the submissions of abstracts for original works from all staff.
Important dates for abstract submissions

| November 16, 2019 | Deadline for all abstract submission |
| November 20, 2019 | Notification regarding abstract submission |
| November 30, 2019 | Submission of slides for oral presentations |
| December 2, 2019 | Review of list of oral presenters |
Abstracts may be submitted only electronically via rdo@kbth.gov.gh
Oral Presentations: 15-minutes time slot
Participants who wish to submit papers may choose between an oral presentation and Research Bulletin however, the Research Day committee will determine the final list of presenters, taking into consideration quality, representation and relevance. Authors may send a ONE PAGE [Title, Author(s) details, department, Background, General aim, Methods, Results, Conclusion] abstract to be evaluated. The final 15 minutes presentations will be made in MS Power Point.
KBTH Research Bulletin
All accepted abstracts will be included in the 2nd Edition of the Research Bulletin. This will be submitted to all programme attendees and also made available on the hospital Research website.
