A multidisciplinary team from Operation Smile Ghana, in collaboration with personnel from the Oral and Maxillofacial Department are attending to patients, free of charge, with cleft lips to restore damaged teeth and obturators, support them in their speech and other specialised services.
Operation Smile Ghana is also collaborating with Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre in this exercise.
The programme started on March 5, 2024, and is expected to be completed on March 10, 2024. Over 70 patients are expected to benefit from the exercise.
